I clasp it in my arms. A child. A friend. My husband.
Press it to my bosom. A dream. A desire. A prayer.
To receive it eagerly. Good news. The Spirit's touch. The Word of the Word.
To be available for it. A child who needs. A lonely one who needs. An invisible one who needs.
To take it in with the eye or the mind. The unseen. The unknown. The Embracer.
Fully engaged. Fully alive. Fully engaged.
